Notes: French horse that came out for the Cox Plate and the Mackinnon in 2015. Didn’t do much in the Cox Plate but won the Mackinnon. Had a serious tendon injury after running twice in France and was looking at a winter return which was delayed.

Finally got going again with a last in the PB Lawrence, off an 18-month break, but then went to Morphettville and put in a great finish to score over over 1400m in the Penny Edition.

Ran again in the Makybe Diva Stakes and did well with a fourth, and managed a decent third in the Underwood.

He then belted out a win in the Group 1 Caulfield Stakes (2000m) over other fancies like Johannes Vermeer and Jon Snow. He’s going really well.

After that win, it looks like he’ll go to the Cox Plate, against Winx, and if he runs well, 10 days later should line up in the Melbourne Cup.

I originally said I don’t think I’d be betting him over 3200m but he seems to be relishing everything thrown at him at the moment. He’s got a big handicap.
